Presenting the nominees for the Danish Startup Awards

Four weeks ago The Next Web introduced the Danish Startup Awards – an online competition, celebrating the best startups, entrepreneurs and best investors in the country. Out of 500+ nominations, the TNW jury has chosen 29 nominees. Vote now for your favourite startup or investor. Nominees, winners and the Danish tech scene are invited to a meetup February 28th in Copenhagen. Come along, celebrate your hard work and meet fellow entrepreneurs!

Since the announcement of the Danish Startup Awards four weeks ago we've had more than 500 nominations over the seven categories. After this successful first phase it's now time to start the voting process as we've narrowed down the nominees to 29.

Best web app

Best mobile app

Best design

Best e-commerce

Best investor


Online voting starts now

Anybody can still vote for their favorite startup, entrepreneur or investor until 12 am CET on Wednesday February 27th. The victors will be announced online afterwards. 

The companies that get the most votes in their category will receive a ticket to TNW Conference Europe and of course, eternal fame. A meetup, organized with Foundershouse and Connect Denmark will take place February 28th,from 6pm onwards in The Jane,, Gråbrødretorv 8, 1154 København. Winners and nominees are invited. The Danish Startup Awards are part of a Startup Awards tour through Europe: tech hubs in Germany, the UK, Ireland, France, Romania, Spain, Poland, Holland, Ukraine and Russia also have Awards organized by The Next Web.

The TNW Startup Awards are a series of 12 local awards in Europe's tech hubs. In each country, an online competition where the public can nominate and vote their favourite will determine the hottest startups, founders and investors.
