Four weeks ago The Next Web and Startupbootcamp introduced the German Startup Awards – an online competition followed by an award ceremony, celebrating the best startups, entrepreneurs and best investors in the country. Out of 844 nominations, the TNW jury has chosen 35 nominees. Vote now for your favourite startup or investor and see the winners rewarded at the Awards ceremonies to be held January 15th in Berlin. Come along, celebrate your hard work and meet fellow tech - entrepreneurs!

Since the announcement of the German Startup Awards three weeks ago we've had more than 800 nominations over the seven categories. After this successful first phase it's now time to start the voting process as we've narrowed down the nominees to 35 – five per category.

Online voting starts now
Anybody can still vote for their favorite startup, entrepreneur or investor until 7pm CET on Tuesday January 15th. The companies who get the most votes in their category will go home with the award, prizes and eternal fame.

The Awards Ceremony will take place in Berlin on Tuesday January 15th where TNW co-founder Patrick de Laive will hand out the awards to the winners. 
The German Startup Awards are part of a Startup Awards tour through Europe: tech hubs in the UK, Ireland, France, Romania, Spain, Poland, Holland, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and Denmark also have Awards organized by The Next Web. 
About TNW Startup Awards Europe

The TNW Startup Awards are a series of 12 local awards in Europe's tech hubs. In each country, an online competition where the public can nominate and vote their favourite will determine the hottest startups, founders and investors. After the online awards, meetups with a TNW co-founder or editor will take place in Berlin,  London, Dublin, Paris, Barcelona, Bucharest, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Kiev, Moscow, Istanbul and Copenhagen. The categories of the awards are: Startup of the Year, best (co-)founder, best web app, best mobile app, best user experience, slickest design and best investor. The TNW Startup Awards are voted for by the public through their preferred social media channel.
